In all my excitement about the start of Holy Week, I failed to mention that my friend, Melissa, got third in her figure show this past weekend in Liberty, Mo. Liberty is located just outside Kansas City. I went with a few other friends and I had a wonderful time. During the afternoon, we walked around the Plaza and enjoyed some sunshine! I took the day off from training, but I brought my meals. I am in precontest mode so it was only natural to bring my own goodies. What a great time I had, though. I was so proud of Melissa. Last year she did not place in the top 10.............this year 3rd! She was very excited as well! I was so glad I could be there to support her! Congrats go out to Melissa Steffen!
